These opportunities are open to all current Catechists and those interested in becoming a catechist with Children's Ministry, Youth Ministry or RCIA.

Saturdays, Noon – 4 pm,
Cost: $6.50 (For each day to cover book cost. Books can be shared.)

Multipurpose Room  - Drinks provided, bring a small snack to share.

Religious Education End of The Year BBQ!

It is the last day of Religious Ed classes and we are ready to celebrate!  Join the Religious Education Department for hot dogs, chips and drinks to celebrate our year together as a family. 

Distractions

Let's read about Jesus's distractions.  Where did the Spirit lead him after he was baptized?  I've always wondered how you could pray in the desert.   How much time do we spend thinking about all the problems our  distractions cause us? Or do we let them just take us away? ......As we "enjoy the ride", not thinking of the consequences.... and oh yes there are consequences!  The saying is"Where there's no pain there's no gain". How much have you endured to  receive the Spirit of God?  Are you ready for the Spirit to lead you? What are your distractions? Any thoughts?

Some thoughts

First I must apologize to Gina for keeping her on pins and needles, wondering if or when I would actually begin writing ..... anyone reading this I hope you will consider giving your own thoughts, questions or even a critique.  So let's start with a prayer....
Saint Gabriel the archangel, Strength of God, pray for us.  Inspire, defend and protect us.  Please stand with us as we defend life against the culture of death.  We ask this in the name of Jesus, our lord and savior, who  by the Holy Spirit was conceived in the womb of the blessed Virgin Mary.  Amen
